THE CAGE, LLC — Ipswich, MA FACILITY RULES & CODE OF CONDUCT THE CAGE PROMISE At The Cage, we believe great athletes are built through effort, respect, accountability, and community. Every athlete, parent, coach, and guest is expected to uphold The Cage Promise: Respect the Game. Respect the Facility. Respect Each Other. By entering The Cage, you agree to help create a safe, positive, and welcoming environment where athletes can train, grow, compete, and have fun. SAFETY RULES • Batting helmets must be worn at all times while participating in batting cage activities. • Only one hitter is permitted in a batting cage unless participating in an instructor-led activity. • No person may enter an active batting cage while pitches are being thrown or machines are operating. • Only trained and authorized individuals may operate pitching machines. • Closed-toe athletic shoes are required at all times on training surfaces. • No horseplay, roughhousing, throwing equipment, or unsafe behavior. • Bats may only be swung in designated hitting areas. • Participants must maintain awareness of their surroundings and other athletes. • Report all injuries, accidents, damaged equipment, or unsafe conditions immediately to staff. • Follow all posted signage and staff instructions at all times. FACILITY CONDUCT • Treat all athletes, coaches, staff, officials, and guests with respect. • Sportsmanship is expected at all times. • Bullying, harassment, discrimination, intimidation, abusive language, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. • Parents and spectators must remain in designated viewing areas unless otherwise authorized. • No tobacco products, vaping, alcohol, illegal drugs, or weapons are permitted on the premises. • Food and beverages are permitted only in designated areas. • Participants are responsible for cleaning up after themselves and helping maintain a clean facility. • Respect all facility equipment, training areas, and property. PICKLEBALL COURT RULES • Appropriate athletic footwear is required. • Players participate at their own risk. • Follow all court reservation and scheduling procedures. • Do not enter courts during active play. • Maintain safe spacing and awareness of other players. MINORS • Parents and guardians are responsible for the conduct and supervision of their children. • Children may not be left unattended unless participating in a supervised program or activity. ENFORCEMENT The Cage, LLC reserves the right to suspend or remove any participant, parent, coach, spectator, or guest who violates facility rules, engages in unsafe conduct, or behaves in a manner inconsistent with The Cage Promise. No refunds will be provided for removal due to rule violations.
